What is Mystery Bus Ride?
Mystery Bus Ride (MBR) is our annual event for 8th-12th graders and the first big event we invite our 8th graders to join our high schoolers. IT IS BACK in 2022! You sign up and pack a bag filled with a packing list we provide, trust us, MBR is filled with activities you don’t want to miss! From 8th-12th grades, we will not repeat an activity included in our Mystery Bus Ride day!
When is Mystery Bus Ride?
MBR is our last event of the program year. This year it will be Saturday, May 7, from 10 AM until 10:30 PM. We know it is a long day, but we also know it is TOTALLY WORTH IT! Don’t hesitate to let us know if you have needs… we can coordinate mid-day drop-offs or pick-ups with parents if need be.
Where is Mystery Bus Ride?
MBR is in the general vicinity of Florida. 😉 We keep our locations intentionally vague. Some years we have gone to Orlando, other years we have gone to Sarasota. We will always be honest with parents about proximity for pickup if midday contact is needed. We will share an address for pick up as we get close to the MBR day. (Thanks for letting us keep the day a mystery for everyone!)
Who attends Mystery Bus Ride?
MBR is open to all 8-12th grade students at Schaarai Zedek! We want to see you there.
This year we will also have three adult chaperones to accompany our teens in all of our activities!
Why should you join us on Mystery Bus Ride?
Honestly, it is a day you don’t want to miss. In typical years, we certainly hear older students say things like “I wish I had gone on MBR all 5 years!”
