Thank you for everything!!!!
Dear Rabbi and Donna, Charles and I and the rest of the Weissman family were honored and privileged to have you and Donna lead our congregation the past 31 years! This is definitely a difficult time for all of us with your retirement! I can’t say otherwise! You have been such an integral part of our lives! You met with Charles and I 27 years ago for lunch to help us make the difficult decision of switching membership from Rodeph to Schaarai Zedek since Charles’ family were all members. We were very unhappy at the time as it was two years before Richards Bar Mitzvah and did not feel a closeness to the Rabbi there! You made it so easy for us to make the decision to join !!! But I will never forget when you said that whatever we decided would be the right decision 😊.... you did Rich, Stu and Karie’s Bat Mitzvah and Bar Mitzvahs , three confirmations, remarried Charles and I,two conversions and officiated at Charles parents funerals....so you understand why this is bittersweet for us as well! You deserve to have this time in your life with your precious Donna!! You both have always been so special to our family! We will never forget what you have done for us ! We are there if you ever need us! We love you both very much !!! Enjoy this time ahead!!! Lovingly, Aida, Charles, Rich and Danielle, Stu and Ashley, Karie and Stephen💗💗💗💗💗
Congratulations to you and Donna. We love you both so much and wish you the very best in your retirement. Thank you for blessing our lives with your beautiful love and light. We will miss you but are so happy for you and hope that all of your retirement dreams come true!
Love, Francine, John, Andrew, Evan, and Charlie Watts

Dear Rabbi and Donna,
We wish you all the joy and happiness in this upcoming new chapter in your lives! You have made such a difference in the lives of the people that you have come in contact with throughout the years. You have made our many years of membership at CSZ the most spiritual and incredible, and we feel blessed that our children, Leah and Adam were able to have been Bar and Bat Mitzvahs under your guidance, wisdom and love. Thank you for everything and Mazel Tov.
The Feeney Family
Dear Rabbi & Donna, You both have been such an integral part of our family's special and memorable times over the years, Shanna's baby naming, Josh's Bris, their Bat and Bar mitzvah's, Josh will never forget and will always be so appreciative of the tutoring you provided him for his Bar Mitzvah in Israel. Confirmations for both children, they still talk about how much they enjoyed confirmation class and they loved the canoe trips! Most recently Shanna and Matt's wedding, where you really performed such a beautiful service. Words cannot express what you both have meant to our family over the years. You both have been such an inspiration and role models for so many over the years. The greatest gift that you have given our congregation over the years is that it is very apparent that so many of the children of CSZ continue to practice their Judaism long after they have outgrown the religious school. That is a testament to your incredible contributions to our community. Thank you for everything and may you both share many more very happy, healthy and fulfilling years ahead. We love you!!!!
Thank you for all the wonderful things you bring to our temple. You are always smiling and welcoming no matter the situation. You warmth makes everyone feel welcome. I hope you have a great retirement.
Congratulations on reaching this milestone. Thank you for everything you have meant to our family, and our community, Enjoy your freedom and celebrate life. Know that we appreciate you with all our hearts and wish you all the best!
Dear Rabbi and Donna,
You have seen our family through so many life events - both good and bad. When Renee was 13 and first joined the synagogue with her family, you gave her a new perspective on Judaism. Having moved from a town where there were few Jews and services were dry and boring, she was inspired by your realistic and holistic message that reached her as a young teen. You gave your congregants the freedom to worship in a way that worked for them and without judgment. Your compassion during Renee's teen years, her mom's passing, and the loss of other family has been invaluable. You have been with us through much joy also... our wedding, the naming of our four children, and Ruthie and Dillon's Bar/Bat Mitzvahs. We are very grateful for your service to the congregation, probably oftentimes at great personal sacrifice. You have both made a difference in so many people's lives, and as you retire please know that you will be missed greatly. We wish you the very best in this next chapter of your life. Lots of love... Renee, Jason, Ruthie, Dillon, Kyleigh, and Sophie Winoker
