At Congregation Beth Am (2030 W Fletcher Ave)
It is customary to study all night on the eve of Shavuot, celebrating the Israelites’ waiting for Moses at the base of Mt. Sinai. We’ll join Congregations Beth Am and Kol Ami for a brief Erev Shavuot service, followed by an evening of teaching and learning open to all. Each attendee will have the opportunity to teach a subject of their choice. It could be Jewish, “Jewish adjacent,” or just something you think is interesting that you’d like to share. Teachers will be given up to 15 minutes (although it could be as short as a minute). Bring a dessert to share!
