“Leave No Trace”
Join us for a glass of wine and a light dinner, followed by a movie and discussion led by Rabbi Simon.
This film tells the story of an Iraq War veteran suffering from PTSD (Ben Foster) who lives off-grid in the forest with his young daughter (Thomasin McKenzie). When found, while social services appreciate the positive elements of their relationship and their living situation, they still deem it necessary to place them into a home.
We will explore the relationship between a parent and child in different environments, along with the impacts of modern technology and conveniences on our lives. While a self-sustained program, this movie night will be expanded upon in our Lunch & Learn program on June 17.
