Bar/Bat Mitzvah Honors

  • During the service, the sanctuary and the bar/bat mitzvah student’s home (if you are leading from home) will be on screen for the entire length of the service. Others will be brought in from the webinar when it is time for their honors. If you would like for any immediate family members (parents, siblings, etc.) who are not with you to be on the screen for the entire service as well, please list their names/relationship below:

  • The Union for Reform Judaism (the national Reform Movement to which Schaarai Zedek belongs and which runs our regional youth groups and summer camps) provides a $250 gift certificate toward future NFTY travel to Israel to all b’nai mitzvah students who are members of Reform congregations. They have started requiring parent email addresses of our students in order to provide the certificate so that they can contact you when your child is eligible.
