High Holy Days

As in the past, we will be issuing tickets for High Holy Days services. To facilitate this process, we are attaching information to help you request your High Holy Day service tickets.

The High Holy Days Ticket Request Form asks you to choose your service preferences. For each service, please indicate each family member attending (including unmarried children under 25 years old). EVERY PERSON WILL BE ISSUED HIS OR HER OWN TICKET FOR A SPECIFIC SERVICE. Service preferences are honored on a first come, first served basis. We will begin mailing tickets in late August. Before services begin, a “will call” area will be set up in front of the Temple entrance for anyone who orders tickets after September 14.

High Holy Day Ticket Eligibility:

  • Members in good financial standing, and their unmarried children, ages 25 and under
  • Family of members in good standing who reside outside of Hillsborough, Pinellas, or Pasco Counties
  • Relatives of members in good standing who are permanent residents of nursing homes
  • Full-time college students who show valid student identification cards
  • Active Duty Enlisted military personnel
  • Complimentary reciprocity tickets are provided to anyone in good standing at another URJ synagogue outside of Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties, provided their home synagogue sends the Schaarai Zedek Temple Office a completed URJ Reciprocity Form.

Childcare service is available for children between the ages of 18 months and 7 years old. If interested, please complete the enclosed Childcare Reservation Form (REQUIRED). Space is limited, so please sign up only if you intend to use this service. If, after making a reservation(s), your plans change, please notify the Preschool office, as staffing and supplies are based on number of reservations.

We are also including a Torah Circle Annual Giving form. As mentioned in the enclosed letter from Rabbi Birnholz, we hope that all who are able will donate to Torah Circle. Torah Circle helps make Schaarai Zedek what it is today and allows all to participate regardless of means. Your generous help is greatly appreciated.

On behalf of your Officers, Board of Trustees, Clergy, and Staff, we wish you a healthy and happy new year.

If you have any questions, please call the Temple Office.
