Congregation Schaarai Zedek’s Youth Groups offer a multitude of activities including social, religious, cultural, community service, and more. All are designed to provide opportunities for our Jewish youth to meet and socialize. Our Youth Groups are affiliated with the National Federation of Temple Youth (NFTY) and the Southeast Tropical Region of NFTY (NFTY-STR). SchZFTY (8th-11th grade) Liz Leadership Training Institute (LLTI) Friday, April 16 - Sunday, April 18
This incredible weekend is designed specifically for our 8th and 11th graders serving on SchZFTY’s TYG Board! We will travel to Miami for a weekend of programming, services and more that will help prepare our SchZFTYites to lead the youth group for the 2010-2011 school year. Registration for this event is based online and we are limited to 10 delegates from SchZFTY. Jr. SchZFTY (7th-8th grade) Hang Out Night Friday, April 23 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
Join us for a special Friday evening service—just for our 7th and 8th graders! This month we will celebrate Israel with Israeli food and activities. We will make chocolate balls and perhaps a few other Israeli specialties! This hangout and service will count as one of your service requirements.
