Ravak-Schaarai Zedek Singles continues to be a powerful draw for singles in the Jewish community (not just Temple members) to come together to meet socially and participate in Jewish activities. Monthly activities include Happy Hours, “Dutch Treat” dinners, and parties of all kinds. Chanukah brings a very successful “Latke Bash” each year. For Passover, Ravak hosts a table at the Temple Second Night Seder. If you are curious what this is, please join us on Thursday, March 1, to find out. There will definitely be a lot of socializing and interaction. One clue - we will be celebrating Purim so feel free to wear a mask or costume (not required though). We won't have "Haman's Brew" or "Ahasuerus' Ale", but there will be wine and cheese for sure. Please also be a Mitzvah Maker and bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the Tampa Jewish Community Food Bank. Passover is coming soon…have some extra chametz in the pantry? AS ALWAYS: The only requirements to attend Ravak events are that you are single and Jewish. Temple membership is not a requirement so if you know someone who might be interested in Ravak (and he/she is single and Jewish) please tell him/her to contact us.
