Thanks for being a great Rabbi

You have played such a wonderful role in our children's lives and ours. We will truly miss you! Have the best of times and great health with your new found freedom.

We have so many memories of our years with you, from b'nai mitzvah, weddings, and our trip to Israel together. Thanks for your years of love and friendship, guidance and advice. Enjoy your retirement.
PS Marilyn and Craig asked us to send their love and congratulations as well. They are out of town at a wedding this weekend.
Mazel Tov on your retirement! Thank you for the wonderful yiddishkeit you have have brought to our temple and especially to me. For my almost nine years here, you have made me feel an intregal part of the shul, for which I am appreciative. Donna, you are an absolutely amazing, down to earth, great, woman. I have enjoyed each and every one of our many chats. L'Chaim!
Shortly after Michele & I moved to Tampa twenty-one years ago, we attended a Bat Mitvah for a friend of ours daughter at Schaarai Zedek. A few years later we had our first son Max and wanted to have a Rabbi perform the Bris and we did not bellong to a Temple so after being impresed with you at the Bat Mitvah, we asked if there was any way you could do a mitvah and preside over his Bris. You did a wonderful job and it was an easy decision a few years later what synagogue we wanted to join. We can't thank you enough for everything you have done, the lessons you have taught in your sermons and the speeches you delivered on both of our kids Bar and Bat Mitvahs. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Mark, Michele, Micaela & Max.
Dear Rabbi Birnholz,
We have truly enjoyed being members of your congregation for the past nine years. It was an honor to have you bar mitzvah and confirm our children. Thank you for leadership, your kindness and for inspiring us to be better parents, children, friends and students. You are truly a one of a kind. We consider ourselves truly lucky to have been part of congregation.

So thrilled to be a part of this congregatio0n with you, even for a short time. You have made our transiiton to Tampa so much easier and we so feel the Scharaai Zedek love!!
Rabbi and Donna,
You both have been such an inspiration to this community and to me personally. I am so happy to have two amazing people in my life such as yourselves.
Best wishes in your retirement! We will miss you, but sure we will see you around! Thank you for giving us the best wedding ceremony we could have ever hoped for!
I want to thank you so much for everything you've done for this congregation, and for me personally. You took time to help me not only learn, but fall in love with this beautiful religion, and for that I will be forever thankful. Mazel Tov! I hope this next stage of your life is as wonderful as you can imagine, you deserve it.
31 years ago we et and watched a wedding at Embassy Suites, from the balcony. You impressed us (Ruth was alive then) and we found a Rabbinical friend for us. You entertained the kids, helped us through live cycle events, and I feel have been a friend to all. Congratulations.
Congrats on 31 years! A bittersweet time. We are happy for your retirement, but sorry to lose you as our Rabbi.
All the best from the Greenberg family! Thanks for all you and Donna have done for our family! Enjoy your retirement!
Rabbi Birnholz, Such an honor for my family and I to have the opportunity to perform for your special retirement party. Thank you for being willing to play along and for your great example. When I heard about you from the Glickman family I knew this would be a first of it's kind performance for me, and grateful for the chance to help celebrate your legacy. Many blessings to you and your many years of dedicated service to the Good Word. Your Brother, jason hewlett
Mazel Tov on a life and legacy of Jewish tradition, values, and mitzvot. Our community has been enriched and blessed to have a leader who has served so faithfully, humbly and thoughtfully. May your next journey continue to inspire many.
Dear Rabbi Birnholz - When we first came to Tampa 16 years ago, we explored several congregations to see which one would be a fit for us (and our future family). When we came here and met you, we knew we had found our Jewish home. Thank you for being a constant source of support throughout the years. We will miss you and Donna more than words (although, we know we will see still you). Enjoy retirement.
Love, Joe and Ellie
