Maintaining contact with our students when they attend college is important at Schaarai Zedek. Our College Committee sends College Care Packages at holiday times. These packages contain information about the holiday; small items, such as menorahs, to enable students to celebrate away from home, and goodies to nosh. Each year, Rabbi Birnholz visits students at state universities in Florida. In addition, our students receive the Shofar, our monthly bulletin, to help maintain their Jewish connection with Tampa.
